Dressage coaching Group jumping On the lunge

At Ardis we believe in educating both the horse and rider. We can start, school or re-educate your horse. Riders can benefit from regular lessons, clinics, seminars and more.

We believe both horses and riders benefit from cross training and everyone is encouraged to step out of their comfort zone and try new disciplines. The result is a more balanced, confident and rounded horseperson/rider. Our ideal student is someone who is truly passionate about the horse; who is hungry to learn and who understands that horse riding is not just about sitting on a horse but that it involves learning so very much more. To this end, lessons DO continue in adverse conditions with stable management, first aid, massage, float loading etc being taught at such times.

Training/Schooling

We work with all horses as individuals and therefore tailor a program to suit your horse. We can start your young horse, school/further educate your horse or re-train a horse that is having difficulties. Please contact Soo (0411 623 479) to find out more.

Lessons/Coaching

Lessons for humans are available Tues-Fri during the day and into the evening as well as Saturdays until lunch time. Our arena is floodlit so lessons are possible in the dark. We are flexible with regard to lesson frequency but do recommend a minimum of weekly lessons as this will best help your progress.

Safety is paramount and private lessons are essential until riders have sufficient control of their mount to be safe riding in company. Groups are intentionally kept small to maximise each rider’s learning and never exceed 4 riders (more often 2-3).
