Somersby Equestrian Club Dressage Championships
A great day had by all and a lovely atmosphere at Il Cadore. The horses all waited so patiently all day long (and it was long!). Ribbons in all but two tests - WOW! Jen/Tom (Prep 3 2nd 61% video, Prep 4 58%), Kate/Lena (1B 6th 59%, 1D %), Kira/Dobbs (Prep 3 3rd 59% video, Prep 4 3rd 63% video), Soo/Mozart (Prep 3 (1st HC 70%), Prep 4 (3rd HC 65%)), Soo/George (1B 4th 64%, 1C 66%), Soo/Dom (5B 2nd 54%, 5C 2nd 58%). Congrats to everyone.

Working Bee
A HUGE thank you to the following people for all their help. A lot was achieved - weeding, fence and post repairs, spreading poo piles, tidying/ clearing, pruning, cleaning, truck repairs and more. We truly appreciate everyone's help and support:

NRC show jumping
More rain leading to the weekend resulted in slippery grounds. Abbey & Pops placed 3rd in the 65cm, Sophie & Nipper double clear in the 50cm, Tash & X went round the 65cm and unfortunately Gemma & Scandal had a tumble in the warm up and retired from the day.

NRC mid week dressage
A very happy and successful day for first timers Kay & Mouse and Jen & Tom. Karen & Charlie placed 6th in their 1B which put a huge smile on Karen's face. Well done to all riders - keep up the great work. Watch Jen & Tom.

WDA dressage
Despite seven horses being entered injuries and training issues (both horse and rider related!) resulted in Tash & X being the sole Ardis representatives. The combination had a really positive second outing scoring 56% in both their prelim tests. Well done to both horse and rider. Watch Tash & X.

NRC show jumping
A slightly smaller team than usual but still with some 'firsts'. Sophie & Nipper, Jess & PJ, Abbey & Pops (first 80cm), Ben & Dobbs (first outing - 50cm & 65cm), Tash & X all had a great day.
