Mozart peekaboo Horsemanship group!26 Oct 08

Horsemanship & jumping clinic

What a fun day we had! The morning comprised a variety of ground work challenges including squeezing under a tarpauline (here's Mozart playing peekaboo!) and riders on their hands & knees!!

The afternoon jumping session was very successful for all involved .... thank you to all who attended.

A special THANK YOU to Kay & Meals for their ongoing photography. Click here for Kay's choice pics of the day.

Lena20 Oct 08 - Lena's first big outing

This will mean nothing to those of you unfamiliar with Ardis, but today Lena ventured out on her first solo trail ride (geez, it's only about her 8th ride all up!). She was a dream; although softly questioning of a few things she managed to put one foot in front of the other & got home safely after a quiet and very uneventful ride. If only one could take a picture of oneself!!!

Soo & Dom19 Oct 08 - NRC dressage

Another good day at the office! Meals was overheard saying she & Sansi had just done their best work ever, Tamsin and Pops pulled off 71% to win a novice class and Tom had his dressage competition debut (poor boy suffered a case of the nerves!) Look at this beautiful picture of teamwork between 'Aunty' Karen, Tamsin & Pops (pic courtesy of furdography)

Karen calling for Tamsin & PopsDom managed the most relaxed test he's done in over 4 years!! with a resulting healthy 65% and PJ was his usual superstar-self, pulling out all stops to outscore Dom in the 3.3 with 62.3% [Dom's been competing elementary for 2 years, this was PJ's 4th elementary test!!]

Tamsin & Tom12 Oct 08 - NRC show jumping

Meals and Tamsin again the representatives from Ardis, with Soo's back a bit dodgy.

Meals & SansiTom (pic courtesy of furdography) had a few discussions regarding a new bit Tamsin was trialling him in, Pops went nicely and Meals & Sansi showed great form over the fences Sansi agreed to jump! All up, not one of his better days ... but it tells us where to start with our homework!!

10 Oct 08 - Hidden Valley cross country clinic

Sadly no pics from a very relaxing and fun day out. Everyone had a successful and confidence building day with the highlight for the majority being at least (!) one gallop up the hill. Thanks to all who attended.
