NRC Dressage
After a bad start to the day with a horse with it's leg stuck in a gate we got away for a day that ended up more positive.
Soo rode Lena in her dressage/competition debut & finished with a very respectable 60% and 2nd in her Prep test. You should have seen her pose for the camera!!
Kay & Sansi and Lisa & Danny braved daughters and strong minded young horses for an eventful day!
Superstar PJ managed 1st & 2nd in his Elementary tests. And Dom got a little excited in both Medium tests but Soo & he were both very proud to now be at this level.

In-House Dressage Comp
Several horses & riders were to attend the Frenchs Forest show which was cancelled due to the rain. An impromptu in-house dressage day was held at Ardis with riders competing in the new Prelim 1A & 1C tests. Katie & Nipper and Nic & Maverick were our two winners. Ribbons to 1st & 2nd place getters, encouragement awards to the lowest scores of the day. Thanks to Tamsin for judging, Meals for pencilling, Kay for photography, Pete for both photography and coffee/cake provisions!

Central Coast Dressage
Tamsin and Tom (competing for the first time with his new EA name "Ardis Tomahawk") brought home a blue ribbon from one of their Prelim tests. Soo rode Novice and Elementary tests with PJ and Dom ... and was very satisfied that Dom coped with both scarey judges and cows in his second test!

Cross country clinic at Avondale PC grounds
The clinic went ahead despite adverse weather & ground conditions. It proved a very successful first cross country outing for most riders. Absolute care was taken due to the wet and it was a credit to all riders that the team arrived home safe & without incident. Lena attended, her first cross country clinic, and was totally unphased by it all.

SIEC ODE's
CONGRATULATIONS to Meals & Sansi for their first eventing ribbon. The pair competed in both the midweek & weekend ODEs and finished 4th in Newcomers on the weekend. x-dressage riders, both horse & rider would appear to be thoroughly enjoying themselves!
